This might sound like a joke but it is reality. For about 50 years I have been visiting dentists (from childhood). I have always been seen by male Dr’s. My union recommended Preferred Dental Care and my dentist ended up being a “lady,” Dr. S. Trivedi back on August 3rd 1999. It was an unforgettable experience. I have never received such professional, tender and kinder service. That’s why I’m still her patient and recommend anybody that needs dental treatment to her office. I came to Preferred Dental in Nov. 05 due to a phone call I made to 1-800-Dentist. I had the good fortune to have Dr. Choi see me. I cannot explain how relaxed she made me feel, I knew I had made the right choice. Since then, I have seen Dr. Choi on many occasions and for me she is great, a very kind and compassionate woman. Mom, it’s time to go to the dentist. No way, that’s what I was thinking. My daughter said I would love the dentist here. My thoughts were, you have seen one you have seen them all. I’m 40 yrs old and all of my dental experiences have not been good at all. For the sake of the children, I bring the family in. Guess what, I need a tooth extraction. No way. The family convinced me to get it over with. The dentist assured me it would be a breeze. Of course I have heard that before. The worst part was the pinch of a needle. Within minutes the wisdom tooth was out.

I just love this place. The customer service is great. The dentists are wonderful. The assistants are angels. In my many years of dentist visits, this has been the best dental experience of my life that I have ever had.

I am a 39 yr. old mother of three, who, before I came here, was a complete dental phobic. As a result, my teeth were broken, missing, discolored. In other words, they were so bad that I thought that they were a lost cause. Besides, every time I went to the dentist before, all I got was a lot of pain and many lectures – NEVER any understanding or HOPE. Recently, my friend Linda told me about Preferred Dental. She had an upper denture done at the Douglaston location and was very happy with it. So, with a lot of trepidation, I let her bring me here, expecting the worst. Well, it was the complete opposite! EVERYONE here was nothing but kind, respectful, and most important, they told me they could help me. First, I needed to get prepared for both an upper and a lower denture. I needed to have 19 surgical and 5 regular extractions. The oral surgeon you referred me to (Dr. Tabarorki) was also nothing but kind and respectful. He made sure that getting the 24 extractions at once was as pain free as possible, AND he had an assistant there just to hold my hand and offer me support, which meant SO MUCH to me. Now I’m here to pick up my dentures, which are GORGEOUS! The staff here and my dentist, Dr. Trivedi, are all so wonderful, and I have already recommended both Preferred Dental and Dr. Tabarorki to many people. Thanks to you, I am able to smile with confidence for the first time in my life! You will never begin to know how much that means to me.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone from the team of Preferred Dental Care. What you did for Adeel and Shadan is beyond explanation. It shows that humanity still exists. When I first heard about PDC, I thought it would be like any other dental office. But when I first visited, my idea completely changed. I saw the hard work put into this project. Well, if anyone hates taking the chair, it’s me! Actually, I’ve been through the mill with dentists. I found your agency in the “yellow pages” of all places. So I remember my first appointment, WOW, the office staff was so friendly. I am on disability and I never thought I would have money to pay for all the intensive dental care. I sat with one of the financial consultants and she got me a ‘Care Credit’ advance with a fixed term. I literally cried. Then I met my new dentist, Dr. Choi. I loved her from the minute we shook hands. The top teeth were first – and I believed she could and would give me the smile I always wanted. It really wasn’t easy keeping my mouth open and biting. I knew I could get through it. I suffer from anxiety and Dr. Choi and I told jokes. As each treatment took place – everything was explained fully. I even called Dr. Choi on her vacation and she called me back. After all, they say you have to be pretty – but it is all worth it to have a beautiful smile. I love Dr. Choi and I recommend her very highly.
